We believe every person carries a God-given spark inside them: a gift, a purpose, a flame. Our mission is to fan that flame into life — through biblical devotionals, gospel-centered content, and spiritual encouragement for men, kids, and families.
We exist to ignite the flame within — and help others do the same.

Founded by Dr. Brad Patterson, a husband, father, grandfather, pastor and author with a heart for awakening faith across generations. Brad serves at First Baptist Church in Trenton, TN, and leads this ministry as an overflow of God’s refining work in his own life.
The Ember Within was born out of burnout — and now burns with renewed purpose.
